Metal Detecting for Tokens & Bicycles – www.metaldetectorx.com Today’s interesting finds are a “Praise the Lord” Game Token and a Bicycle. Yes, Always an Adventure. You know, Metal Detecting has altered my spirit. Before, if I seen a bicycle or something laying in a ditch, I would not give it a second thought. I just don’t care about something unless it has my interest. That was until tonight. I was detecting along and all the sudden I seen that bicycle ditched in some bushes. For the final hour of my detecting it was beckoning me. Thoughts of “receiving stolen property” came to mind. I could not help myself, I had to take it. Seeing it while detecting made it part of the adventure. I knew if I left it there it would bother me, so I grabbed it and threw it in the trunk. LOL Oh man, what have I went and done now. Totally out of charactor for me, but, oh well. In other news. I’m thinking about selling my ZX-7 to pay for the Minelab Safari. This would mean using the money to buy a Safari and another less expensive motorcycle. I woke up today 90% sure I needed to do this. While I am detecting I see people out having fun on their rocket bikes. I could be doing the same thing, but, the passion has left me. I’ll probably live longer metal detecting. Every time i ride the bike, i think about my 3 year old daughter. We need to upgrade. The Old Boys say “It takes weeks, months or years to learn a machine”. Maybe so, but not when you detect every day. Face it, people that switch …
